Hey everyone! Welcome back to Land to House. I’m Seth, and today I’m excited to share my thoughts on the Kukirin G2 electric scooter. After putting about 6 miles on this thing, I can confidently say—it’s a blast to ride!

Key Features of the Kukirin G2

This scooter packs some serious specs:

  • 800W brushless motor (plenty of power!)

  • Max weight capacity: 264 lbs

  • Top speed: 27 mph (in Race mode)

  • Range: Up to 34 miles per charge

  • Dual suspension (front & rear shocks)

  • Dual disc brakes for quick stopping

  • LED headlight, brake light, and turn signals

  • Horn, touchscreen display, and three-speed modes

First Impressions & Build Quality

Right out of the box, the Kukirin G2 feels sturdy and well-built. The dual suspension is a game-changer—it smooths out bumps and rough terrain like a champ. The wide deck gives plenty of room to stand, and there’s even a rear footrest if you want to switch up your stance.

Folding & Portability

Folding the scooter is simple:

  1. Press the main latch near the stem.

  2. Pull the safety tab to release.

  3. Fold it down and secure it with the carrying strap.

The centered handle makes it easy to carry, and the weight distribution is solid—no awkward swinging when you’re lifting it.

Performance & Riding Experience

Speed Modes

The Kukirin G2 has three speed modes:

  1. Eco Mode – Caps at 19 mph (great for battery conservation)

  2. Sport Mode – Hits 21 mph

  3. Race Mode – 25+ mph (where the real fun begins!)

Switching between modes is easy—just double-tap the power button or use the touchscreen.

Brakes & Safety

The dual disc brakes are super responsive—they stop on a dime without throwing you off. Plus, the brake light activates when slowing down, adding extra visibility.

Off-Road Capability

I tested the scooter on pavement, grass, and gravel, and here’s the breakdown:

  • Pavement: Smooth, fast, and effortless.

  • Grass: Struggles a bit (as expected), but the suspension helps.

  • Gravel: Handles decently, but avoid large rocks.

Display & Controls

The LCD touchscreen shows:

  • Speed (mph/km toggle)

  • Battery level

  • Riding mode

  • Headlight control

The turn signals are a nice touch, though they’re a bit hard to see in bright sunlight. The horn is loud enough to alert pedestrians, and the headlight does its job at night.

Final Thoughts – Is the Kukirin G2 Worth It?

Pros:
✔ Powerful motor (great acceleration)
✔ Excellent suspension (comfortable ride)
✔ Responsive brakes (safety first!)
✔ Good range (34 miles is solid)
✔ Lots of extras (turn signals, horn, bright lights)

Cons:
❌ Heavy (not the most portable)
❌ Grass/off-road performance is limited
❌ Display can be hard to see in direct sunlight
